Conclusion
It's safe to say that without the great man Jackie Robinson this country would be filled with malice and division. He conquered what some said was unconquerable by breaking the Major League color barrier. This set examples to shape the future of our country. He over came nasty, mean and racist comments including some major league managers saying "there will never be a black player in the major leagues. Jackie Robinson was also a boom for the Major League's finances. Robinson could have started a new economic beginning for this sport. Many great players in the Major Leagues today such as Curtis Granderson, Jimmy Rollins, Torii Hunter and Carl Crawford may not have been able to play in this game as well as make it more exciting. Even if you don't care for the sport of baseball, Robinson is a main reason why you can have African American friends or even go to school with them.
